LOCUS OF CONTROL (2011)
"Locus of Control" will be Side Chain's third studio album. Lyrics and music are currently being written
and recording is expected to commence around October 2010. All of the lyrics have been written and 6 songs worth of music have been recorded in demo format.
The album will feature 12 original songs, just like the previous two albums.

LASTING IMPRESSIONS (2009)
"Lasting Impressions" is Side
Chain's second studio effort. It was recorded between August 2008-June 2009, and then released on 09 September 2009.
Like "Drone Manifesto", 'Impressions' features
12 original hard-hitting tunes. The songs on this album
are just as varied and melodic as those found on "Drone", but
they're also angrier, more cynical, more agressive, and they
feature more complex arrangements and playing techniques.
Lyrically, 'Impressions' is more thematic and conceptually cohesive than was 'Drone', possibly due to the fact
that the lyrics were all written within a relatively short time span. Also in contrast to 'Drone' was that the lyrics to 'Impressions'
were written first, before the music.
The cover art for 'Impressions' was created by artist Terena Starkey, who also did the cover art for 'Drone'. Her drawing was inspired by Jeremy Bentham's panopticon:
a prison designed such that all prisoners can be watched at the same time, but they can not tell who is watching. Many of the themes discussed throughout 'Impressions'
deal with the multitude of social forces/powers that we can't see, or fail to notice, influencing our thinking and behaviour on a daily basis - a clear parallel to
Bentham's conept of the panopticon.

DRONE MANIFESTO (2007)
"Drone Manifesto" is Side Chain's debut studio album. It was recorded at 'Clunky's Cave' in Singapore
between January-December 2007 and was originally released on 21 December 2007. A remixed and
remastered version of the album was released and replaced the original version on 10 August 2008. Legendary Australian recording engineer/producer
Paul Grant collaborated a great deal with Scott in the final stages of the recording process to help shape the album's overall sound.
The cover art for "Drone Manifesto" was painted by artist Terena Starkey. One of the major themes running through the album
is the idea of shaking off whatever is holding you back so that you may reach your potential.
The album art is representative of this concept, as you can see many contorted faces
trying to break out of the painting.
